Here is our special recommended guide for preserving your Basit Oni pieces, to ensure their longevity and excellent condition over time. Luxury materials require specific care to preserve their integrity over time. Specific cleaning and care instructions are present on the product label inside each garment. For general advice, read our dedicated guide for your ready-to-wear garments in mikado, chiffon, silk, velvet, and soon more.

COTTON

We recommend soft hand washing at 30°C or slow dry cleaning. Preferably, turn the garment inside out and ensure the protection or removal of any accessories.

LEATHER

To protect your leather product, we recommend storing it in a dry room, away from humidity, and avoiding exposure to heat and light sources. We advise you to avoid rubbing against other materials, especially abrasive or lighter ones, as this could lead to color migration. Any contact with water, perfumes, cosmetic products, or other liquids can also have irreversible effects. If this happens, any excess liquid can be gently absorbed using an absorbent cloth by dabbing lightly.

SILK

We recommend gentle dry cleaning and reverse ironing, ensuring the protection and removal of any fiber.

VELVET

We recommend water or gentle dry cleaning following the label instructions. Flat drying is suggested to maintain the garment's natural shape.

CHIFFON

We recommend gentle dry cleaning, do not wring. It is delicate material. Do not iron as it will burn the material.

MIKADO

We recommend spot-cleaning with mild liquid detergent [do not use agents containing bleach] and lukewarm water. Please note, the longer a stain remains on the fabric, the more difficult it will be to remove. Do not use heat to clean.

CLOTHING WITH METAL PARTS

We recommend cleaning using a soft, dry cloth. Avoid contact with water and any contact with chemical products.
